Blue eyes rolled around in their sockets as the rest of the sore body sat up. Naruto groaned and rubbed his head, glaring at the IV pumping "life" through him. He looked to his side, seeing the burgundy, plastic safety bowl with a matching cover on the table. 'Great hospital food.' He though as he opened the bowl. Aww, bacon with stale eggs and a hard piece of toast...they really went all out. A knock sounded on the door and Naruto grunted for the person to come in. The pink haired woman tried giving her best smile as she came in, remembering how much of a pain Naruto was the other night. "How are you feeling Mr. Uzumaki?" Naruto gave another grunt and tried to swallow the powdered eggs.
The woman scowled. "I-I don't think that I told you my name," She started with her teeth grit and then pertly continued. "I am Ms. Haruno, you can call me Sakura if you want. Another grunt sounded and the scowl Ms. Haruno's had made deep lines into her face. As she began to speak the door opened again, the raven haired man from before walked through in finely pressed black slacks and a wine red sweater. Naruto's breath stopped again, he choked on a piece of bacon making the doctor jump slightly and quickly pat him on the back. Regaining his composure Dr. Uchiha sat down calmly on the stark white bed sheets. "Alright then, Mr. Uzumaki..." Naruto blushed at how smooth his name sounded when coming from the man. His head popped up and the raven's eyes softened a bit. "Naruto is your name right?"
Naruto slowly began to catch his breath, "U-uhh..." Ms. Haruno silently left the room. "Naruto right? One blink for yes, two for no." Naruto blinked once and nodded his head. "Y-yes, I'm Naruto.." Sasuke took a pen form his back pocket and took the clipboard Ms. Haruno had left in the chair before she left. "Alright, well you must not remember much from before you came in here and you must be wondering why..." Naruto scowled. No, really now captain obvious?'. "You were in a car accident," Naruto's grim thoughts froze and his blood ran cold as Dr. Uchiha spoke again. "The driver slid off the road and you had almost permanent nerve damage in your legs. But you were saved." He wrote down something onto the clipboard and looked back up, sighing.
Naruto looked down at his hands, mouth open and for once didn't have a thought in his head. Finally he spoke up. "Who?" He whispered.
"Excuse me?"
"The driver, who was he..." Dr. Uchiha grunted and cleared his throat.
"A man by the man by the name of Iruka Umino." Naruto gasped, he tried to get up and groaned, he still couldn't feel his legs. "I-I have to see him."
"He's in critical condition right now, no visitors." Sasuke sighed again and Naruto swallowed his sobs, trying to get up. How could this have happened? The raven pushed back down, he yelped at the man's immense strength.
"You are in no condition to move, stay here and get some rest, my close friend is working with Mr.Umino he's in great hands. " Dr.Uchiha slowly let go of Naruto and stood. The blonde looked angrily at his doctor, how could he do this? How could he keep Naruto away from Iruka?
"I'm sorry for your problem, but you must do as I say, I'm here to take care of you." He left the room and Naurto blushed. 'T-take care of me?' Naruto breathed out with that thought and turned over to fall back asleep.
