Naruto yawned and crawled out from under his warm blanket. He stretched and scratched his head, as he trudged to his kitchen. Seeing that he was down to his last ramen cup made him even more depressed than he already was. Man, he thought, I'd kill for some miso right now. This pork is killing me, he sighed, I've eaten it for three weeks now. What made things worse was the fact that it was his birthday, and nobody was there to wake him up with the singing of "Happy Birthday". He shook his head, he didn't have time for his birthday, if he was ever going to be Hokage, he'd have to train his ass off.He was really surprised to see Sasuke at his door, tapping his foot expectantly. "Just when were you planning to show up for training, dobe?" Naruto shouted,despite it being early, "Whenever I want to you Uchiha bastard!" He huffed and stomped off. Sasuke watched him walk off, wondering why he'd even come to Naruto's place. He was Naruto's friend and rival, not some boyfriend who was worried about him. He sighed and headed off to the bridge where team 7 met, thinking that he would need to get his head examined. As usual, Kakashi-sensei was late and Naruto was getting impatient. Finally tired of seeing Naruto pacing, Sakura shouted,"Will you cut that out, Naruto?!!" He stopped and looked at Sakura. "Sorry. But this waiting is killing me, I need to train as much as I can to become Hokage." He sighed and wondered if he should forget training for today, since Kakashi-sensei was a no-show. Then out of nowhere he appeared, holding his Icha Icha book, smiling like the perverted fool he was. "Sorry everyone, I was on my way here when--" "Ah, save it, Kakashi-sensei! I came to train not listen to another lie about why you're late!" Sasuke sighed and Sakura added,"I agree with Naruto, for once." Kakashi sighed, "Very well then." They started for the training ground, Sakura was talking to Kakashi asking if she would get to learn any new techniques, while Naruto and Sasuke fell behind. Strangely enough, they were very quiet all the way there, that is until Sasuke smirked at Naruto, who had nearly fallen. "What the hell is so funny?" Naruto shouted, drawing the attention of Kakashi and Sakura, "Answer me, dammit." "It's nothing." Sasuke answered. He started to walk away, when Naruto grabbed him, and they both fell to the ground. The rivals were on top of each other, in a very compromising position, and they were lip-locked. With Sasuke's leg in between Naruto's legs and Naruto's hand on his groin, all Kakashi and Sakura could do was stare in shock. They stayed in that position for a few moments, both hearts beating wildly, when Sasuke kicked Naruto off of him. Naruto hit the ground really hard and when he tried to get back up, he fell back down. Then everything went black and the next thing he knew he was in the hospital. He could hear voices outside his door and without warning the door opened to reveal his silver-haired, pervy sensei. For once Naruto didn't have anything to say, and Kakashi took advantage of that. "You gave us quite a scare there, Naruto. You should take better care of yourself, you know." Naruto sighed."Sorry, sorry."Then he remembered that he hadn't eaten that morning, but he wasn't going to say anything. It wasn't like anyone would care, with all the glares and whispers of hatred, they'd probably just blame him for dying too. A growl from his stomach broke his thoughts and Kakashi looked down at his pupil. He sighed, "Well Naruto, I suppose I'll take you out for ramen." Iruka would kill him if he let Naruto suffer even the tiniest bit. Having just started their relationship, he couldn't help but feel jealous of Naruto sometimes. He sighed again. Naruto had already gotten dressed and was tapping his foot impatiently, sending a glare at his sensei, who was probably thinking dirty thoughts fit for the gutter. As soon as Kakashi checked Naruto out of the hospital, the blonde ran straight ahead to Ichiraku. The silver-haired jounin preferred a steadier pace and read the next chapter of his Icha Icha book.

Sasuke walked down the alleyway thinking about his brother and how he could kill him. There were so many ways to do it and...was that an orange m&m that just ran by? He shook his head, no of course not, it was just the dobe. 'Yeah the dobe with the hot as- Huh? Where had that come from? He didn't like Naruto, hell he didn't like men, and even if he did he could probably get any man he wanted. No, he liked girls, breasts, and nice firm as-. Dammit!!!!!' He sighed, "Ah well, I suppose I should apologize to the little idiot." 'The adorable idiot with the adorable ass.' said a frequent and annoying voice in his head. 'Shut up!' 'Oh don't be that way, you know there's always that SEXY JUTSU of his...' 'That could work, I mean he wouldn't really be gay-' Wait, what the hell was he saying,erm, thinking!!!! They were rivals and maybe even best friends, but they weren't close enough to, to.... He saw flashes of Naruto from their time in the bath house, but he never remembered Naruto posing like he was in his mind right now. He blushed and tried to banish the naughty images, when he felt himself fall to the ground and something fall on top of him. It didn't help matters that the something was actually a someone. The same someone who had been moaning only moments before inside his head. 'This is awkward. Hell awkward didn't cover it, not by a long shot.' He sighed it felt soooooo good. It was like a hot bath after hours of training, he never wanted it to end. Unfortunately, Kakashi came around the corner at that moment and grabbed Naruto away from Sasuke. "Now now, Naruto, stay off of Sasuke. We wouldn't want him kicking you again, would we?" "Oh, yeah." he said scratching his head, "Sorry, teme." Then he muttered something that sounded like "why doesn't he watch where he's going". Instead of reacting, he merely got up and walked away saying "Dobe."
Naruto started to growl and to chase after him, however, Kakashi grabbed the boy by the shoulder and held him back. "Ramen..." he said. "Forget it, Kakashi-sensei! That bastard needs to be dealt with!" Kakashi chuckled to himself and thought 'Time to play a little game with these two.' He looked at the boy he held, well he wasn't a boy anymore. Three years with Jiraiya had made sure of that, and ever since Sasuke had come back from Orochimaru, the hyperactive ninja beside him had brightened up. He chuckled again, "Why,Naruto, I never knew you cared about Sasuke so much! I mean to put ramen second." He made a 'tsking' sound. Naruto turned and with a slight blush and pointed an accusing finger at his sensei. "First of all, no I DON'T care about Sasuke that much!(ouch,that hurts *ahem**bows* sorry) Second, I will never put ramen second to anything! And third," he dropped his voice and took on a new tone, with puppy eyes, "Let's go, I'm starving." Kakashi sighed and put his book away, because he knew he wouldn't be able to read it. Especially with the headache Naruto had just given him, he thought he was immune to the loud-mouth by now, but that wasn't the case. He decided he should go home and he turned to the blonde, who was staring at him as if he'd lost his mind. Kakashi figured he'd been staring off into space for awhile, and said,"Naruto, I'll be going home now. Here you go." He handed the ninja some money and waved before leaving with a 'poof'. Naruto stared at the spot where his sensei had just been standing and sighed. He then looked into his hand and nearly fell to the ground in shock. Once he regained his composure, he smiled. 'Kakashi-sensei must've really been out of it.' Naruto thought. This would buy him a full night of ramen(which means it would buy anyone else a year of it *ahem,blushes, and bows*gomenasai). He stood there with drool coming out of his mouth, when his stomach growled and snapped him out of it. Naruto started to run towards Ichiraku, but stopped himself. He was never one to be selfish, and he figured he should treat someone to ramen. So he ran towards Sakura's house to ask if she would like to eat with him, she just had to say 'yes'. Unfortunately, she wasn't home, so he ran to Chouji's house, but he wasn't home either. Naruto was determined to have someone eat with him, because he hated to eat alone. Maybe because it reminded him too much of his lonely childhood and maybe it was also because if someone ate with him, then they cared a little. He felt less alone then, at those times when someone would acknowledge him with a smile instead of a look of hatred. He continued to everyone's home, but he found they were all out somewhere or at least they weren't home. He sighed he had only three places left:the Hyuuga's, the Uchiha place, and Iruka's. He sighed and headed for Iruka's first, when he got there, however, the lights were off. 'Maybe I should have come earlier, I mean it's almost dusk.' he thought sadly. But Naruto was NOT going to give up, no, far from it. He still had Hinata and Neji, and if that failed, Sasuke. He made it to the Hyuuga mansion in time to see Kiba kiss Hinata goodnight at her front door, he left before they could see him. He tried to find Neji, but quit after an hour or so, as he couldn't sense him anywhere. He was really depressed, it felt like everyone was ignoring him. Sighing, he walked to the Uchiha complex and thought about turning around and going home, when he saw a light in the second room, on the top floor go on. Always the one to speak loudly, he shouted up to Sasuke,"Oi, teme!!!" There was silence and then a loud 'thunk'. Followed by muffled cussing and a very angry, very sexy Uchiha looking out of his window and glaring at Naruto. 'Wait did I j-just say he's a very sexy Uchiha?' Naruto gulped and realized he did. He regained his senses quickly and smiled at the glaring and sexy Uchiha. 'ARRRRGGGHHHH!!!! Stop calling him sexy!!!' "Hi Sasuke! Do you wanna get some ramen with me?" Sasuke stared down at him, and sighed, "Do you realize that it's about 7 at night? And that other people have other things to do, besides eat ramen?!?!" He shouted venomously. Naruto sighed, and said,"Yeah, I do. I tried everyone else and they were all too busy. I thought about not bothering you, but then I thought that maybe you'd be home. Sorry to bother you." He started to walk off when a voice stopped him,"So, you tried everyone, huh?" he smirked. "Well, I guess since I have nothing better to do, I'll go."

At the Ichiraku the two sat in silence. Sasuke was still mulling over the days events and trying to piece why he was having wet daydreams about the blonde next to him. He'd thought about it as he'd walked away from Kakashi and Naruto earlier, and couldn't stop. He hated the answer that kept popping into his head, but he was afraid it was true and being a genius, he knew denial was useless. Sasuke had figured it out and he was no better than when he had started out. But he knew for a fact that he, Sasuke Uchiha, was completely in love with Naruto Uzumaki, and that he was gay. He only wished the dobe, his dobe, would catch on and that he would love him back. But, he sighed again, that was about as likely as his brother being possessed by a demon and that being the reason he had slaughtered the clan. That was what scared him, the fact that if Naruto found out and didn't like him back, it would kill him. The blonde who was taking in more noodles than oxygen, had the power to destroy the Uchiha clan's sole survivor. And he had no friggin' idea! He was jolted out of his thoughts by a poke in his cheek, he turned to the dobe who had his heart, and now his attention. "Sasuke, are you okay? You were spacing out really bad." He looked at Sasuke with genuine concern and Sasuke couldn't help, but think how cute he was. And that lead to other sexual fantasies, which made his pants feel tight in the groin area. Did he just think that Sasuke was cute?' He shook his head so hard, he was surprised it didn't fall off of his shoulders. Sasuke looked at him with worry, 'What the hell is up with him? Maybe I should take him home.' "Naruto," Sasuke said, his voice showing his worry. Naruto stopped shaking his head and turned to face Sasuke. "Um, what is it Sasuke?" "Do you want to go home now? You're not looking so good." It was true, his face was flushed and he was sweating a little. It wouldn't be so bad, after all it wasn't that hot out, it was cool out. The problem was that his mind kept showing Sasuke naked and in tons of 'compromising' positions, and it certainly didn't help that said person was sitting next to him and very close too. "Y-yeah, let's go." he said, he got up and paid Teuchi and his daughter, who smiled at him and said 'goodnight'. He tried to banish the naughty images from his mind, when he lost his balance and fell to the ground. He braced himself for the hard ground to hit him, and was surprised when he felt himself hit something soft. That something was Sasuke. It took Naruto a moment to get it, but as soon as he did he got up quickly and started to apologize. "I-I'm sorry, Sasuke. I didn't mean to, I guess I'm just a klutz. Um Sasuke...." Sasuke sat there, mulling over things and slowly got up. He didn't realize what he was doing until his lips met Naruto's and he was holding him close. He jumped, realizing what he was doing, and jumped back quickly. Naruto just stood there with wide eyes directed at Sasuke. He recovered and looked at Sasuke menacingly, "What the hell was that, teme?" Sasuke tried to find the words, but none would come to him. He finally managed an apology and ran away as fast as he could.

Kakashi watched from a nearby tree,'Well, well, Sasuke. It looks like you made the first move. And here I thought you hadn't learned anything from me.' He sighed as he read the next chapter of his Icha Icha book, and looked at his loudest student, who now stood silently where Sasuke had left him. He put a finger to his lips and blushed, Kakashi smirked,'Well now, I see those 18 year old tendencies are building up nicely. That means I won't have much work to do.' He smirked again and disappeared before his student saw him.

Sasuke ran through the village, trying to put as much distance between Naruto and himself as possible. How could he have done something so stupid? Kissing Naruto that soon was the worst thing he could have done, any chance he had with his blonde just flew out the window. He stopped to catch his breath, finding himself in front of his home anyway. 'Damn. I never should have gone out with him.' But that wasn't true. The truth was he'd enjoyed every moment with his blonde, and he wasn't about to let him go until Naruto looked him in the eye and said 'I don't love you.' Naruto sighed as he opened the door to his apartment. He sighed again, and shut the door behind him. 'Damn,' he thought. 'So that's what was up with Sasuke. That guy really needs a girlfriend!' Without any words being said, he grabbed Naruto and started kissing him. It turned rough as he headed towards the bedroom and they landed on the bed. "Naruto, wait up!" Sasuke yelled. Naruto turned and grinned, "What am I beating you, Sasuke?" 'Not yet.' Sasuke thought. Naruto finally stopped to catch his breath, and Sasuke took the oppurtunity to tell him what he needed to. "Naruto, I need to tell you something." Naruto turned to look at him and said,"So, spit it out already, teme." "Naruto, I- I lo-" he was cut off by Kiba poofing in between them. He glared at the dog lover, before sighing and poofing away. Kiba looked at Naruto and then to the spot where Sasuke had been. He shrugged and turned to Naruto,"So, Naruto you wanna spar?" "Sure, Kiba."Naruto replied, grinning. In the back of his mind, he couldn't help but wonder what Sasuke had wanted to say. As they headed to the training grounds together, a raven-haired ninja watched in jealousy, before disappearing to his home. Kakashi and Iruka watched Naruto and Kiba train together, and Kakashi got an idea, "How about we add to the bet?" "What do you mean?" "What about Naruto and Kiba?" he smirked. "No. Absolutely not. I will not play with Naruto that way." "Fine, fine."
